010; Geneology
I've been going over the family history of the Japanese (Sasaki, descended from the Minamoto family of the Omi Province, now integrated into the Shiga Prefecture) side of my family (last year it was the Scottish side (Forester/Forrester/Forster/Foster/et al) and I came across some interesting things, one of them being an old photo.
Can someone translate this for me? (Or does anyone know someone who can?)

The photo (which you can see here, if interested) was taken out in front of the family's home in Asakita-ku, Hiroshima, Japan in the late 1800's and I don't believe we've had it translated yet. I'm curious as to what it says :)
Thanks for any help.

I'd like to help, but I can barely make out the characters, much less understand it. I'll see if I can get a Japanese friend to take a look at it. I think the first few characters on the top right row going down start off with "1939" (as in the year...)
Yeah, unfortunately that's the problem everyone is having; the bad penmanship ;)
Honestly, though, anything you can havemade out I'd be grateful for. Thanks! :D
